   Indeed they were.  Ray and Vanier both enlightened   
   themselves right over the River Jordan.  That was the   
   golden age of usenet.   
      
   Then there was a Canadian poster who kept trying to tell   
   Ray that Ray really WASN'T listed in the 2000 Who's Who   
   (Entertainment section), in spite of his crowing over it.   
   Ray insisted for many months that this was all a smear.   
   Finally he went to a library and checked for himself, and   
   discovered he had been totally & completely wrong for   
   months.  Then Ray had the nerve to demand an apology from   
   the canadian guy.

   seems I also vaguely remember ray being listed   
   on some guru site along with a host of other   
   guru wannabes, and I think SPV was also listed   
   on that site.
