So you rely on the government for your income. How terribly
   'libertarian' of you.

I disagree with your assessment of the economy, however. It is
meaningless to assert that it is a Carnot engine. First, all economic
activity has inefficiency. How we minimize inefficiency depends on which
inefficiency we are dealing with. Certain goods and services are needed
without regard to available prices and are most effectively provided by
government. Others can be more effectively provided by a private sector
because there are people willing to risk failure for profit. When the
good or service is no longer needed, the provider of the service has to
   do something else.

I have no idea how Taoism justifies an anti-community attitude.
