   We've seen how badly things turn out when the line of command gets to   
   overturn convictions in rape trials  in the military. Recusal is the   
   only way to have a reasonable chance of finding out what is going on.   
      
   The problem in the AP case is that this is almost certainly done in   
   accordance with the law. It is the law itself that should be considered   
   a shocking violation of the 4th Amendment, but that won't happen unless   
   the Supreme Court stops it. The mindless panic that started on 9/11/2001   
   is still poisoning our government.
