   Aw, geeze, I thought you had more brains then that.   
      
   A democracy is a government in which sovereignty lies with the people.   
   That's what the US has.   
      
   Now, if you want to argue that it's not a PERFECT democracy, you have   
   lots of wriggle room.  It has developed a really nasty corporate   
   aristocracy, and aristocracies are inimical to democracies.  I suspect   
   that's why we have these right wing zombies wandering around the groups   
   trying to assure the American people that they have no control over   
   anything, let alone their own nation.
