   The sequester was one of the dumbest things that Obama ever agreed to.   
   He sometimes has no sense of history. When the GOP shut down government   
   in the '90s, they hurt only themselves. Obama does two foolish things in   
   negotiations: he pre-compromises (taking RomneyCare as the template for   
   PPACA and getting rid of the public option are good examples) and he   
   doesn't let the GOP commit political suicide (compromising on the debt   
   ceiling, sequester, etc.). If he and Harry Reid had backbones, the GOP   
   would be dead right now.
