Ya know, about ten or fifteen years ago I came across a "progressive" website
   while surfing one day.
This feeling of deja vu got stronger and stronger as I read, and I was
   wracking my brain, thinking,
"Where have I seen this rhetoric before?" All of this class warfare, oppressed
   workers, downtrodden
   minorities jabber was ringing bells.

Finally it dawned on me! CPUSA! Right out of the Maoist literature of the
   '70s. The label "liberal"
was out of favor at the time, so they had rebranded themselves as
   "progressives."
