   What have we evolved?   
      
   Nonsense.   
      
   Consider the evidence of what we've done in the last 100 years:   
      
   We've evolved medicine so that people live long enough to die of   
   diseases born of the poisonous environment and life style we've   
   evolved.   
      
   We've evolved world-wide communications and use it to broadcast   
   sitcoms and the Michael Jackson trial.   
      
   We've evolved numbing social-systems, turned our lives over to them   
   and watched (in surprise?) as they've killed millions of their own   
   citizens.   
      
   We've evolved education systems to eliminate the classical heritage of   
   centuries in favor of pop culture,social promotions and "sensitivity   
   and diversity training"   
      
   We've evolved our values to the point where we pay sports figures and   
   pop music celebrities millions and teachers a bare subsistance.   
      
   We've evolved our spirit of adventure to the point that we are   
   becoming the first society since the Dark Ages to actually *retreat*   
   from the expansion of human exploration.   
      
   I could go on, but you get the point, I think.
