   So as minimum wage goes up, the cost of living goes up, eliminating the   
   benefit of an increased minimum wage. All it has the effect of doing is   
   causing greater inflation.   
      
   You have more money, but it's worth less....net result, nothing has changed.   
   All you've done is drag people who worked to get ahead down by making the   
   reward for their efforts worth less in value.
