   No, part of Christian doctrine is that all humans are suffering the   
   consequences of Original Sin. If you don't accept that, there is no need   
   for Jesus to come and redeem us. If there's no need for Jesus, it's not   
   Christianity.

   On this point, I agree with you. Christianity does advocate socialism,   
   which makes it so puzzling that the politicians who most loudly proclaim   
   their piety are the ones who say that "socialism" is a dirty word.
