i must admit I saw no connection between the two either. I supect that
his little conclusive and somewhat self-centred judgement was
prepared long in advance and would have been delivered regardless of
   what was said.

It is all the more remarkable coming from a person who
needs a pretend friend all the time to accompany him not
unlike a female Roman body slave to constantly attend to his
every need whispering in his ear him how wonderful and important to
   her life he is.

What he said looks very much like the kind of fantasy
the relgious have regarding their claimed god. One who will
eventually 'save' them from their sad little lonely lives
and whisk them away to some paradise they call heaven.

Yes i thought it was good too.
