   Well, he was clearly being in a joking mood when he said that, for whatever   
   that is worth.   
      
   But having said thar, you said the OV was somehow "more" subtle. But what   
   actually happened was that they threw out the unicorn daydream, added a   
   happy ending and a VO that had to explain it all to the audience.   
      
   I can understand how & why some people don't like the deck-a-rep subtext,   
   but even so I can't see how any of the changes make the OV more subtle.
