Brokeback Mountain was a great movie, and his performance in it was
really stellar. My personal favorite Heath film is the recent I'm Not
There. I wasn't a huge fan of all his movies, but I think he was someone
who chose quality projects and didn't do a lot of movies that were just
picking up the check. Not every movie worked out, but he tried a lot
harder than a lot of actors.

I don't know, why do anything? I guess it's always shocking when someone
that young dies, particularly when his career seemed on the verge of an
even bigger break with the Batman film. I worked by the apartment where
he died on my way home from work yesterday and there were still people
milling about, and a whole bunch of flowers outside.
