   I do agree that not all of his movies are up to the level of Alien and Blade   
   Runner. In fact, none of them are, AFAIAC.

   Are you quite sure you "got" the "humane" message of this movie? Doesn't if   
   seem strange you have to distance yourself from its director to really feel   
   you are comfortable with it?   
      
   Once more, Blade Runner is the movie it is BECAUSE of Ridley Scott. Without   
   him does anyone think we would even be here discussing some 26-year-old   
   movie?
