From: usenet@stainlesssteelrat.net              Was just going through some of the trailers at the excellent Dave's Trailer       page. Ignoring your romcoms, sports flicks, and other things that I pretty       much have no interest in...              Wall-e looks like it could be one of the fun and charming Disney films.              Wanted looks like it could be one of the summer's dumb action flicks.              The Happening looks like another flawed M Night Showaddywaddy film.              Mike Myers seems to have given up on the Austin Powers franchise, although       is doing exactly the same thing under the guise of The Love Guru.              Speed Racer looks like it could be fab, or awful.              The Fall looks it has potential, with gorgeous visuals and a weird story,       although surprisingly is from 2006 and just now getting distribution.              Blindness looks interesting, albeit with a Day-of-the-Triffids-a-like       apocalyptic story of the world being turned blind.              Hellboy 2 looks like it could be interesting, perhaps more so than the       arguably underrated original.              (Aside from your Gotham Knights and your Ironmans)              Overall I think The Fall looks the most interesting and original.              What are you looking forward to in the rest of 2008?              --       StainlessSteelRat       http://www.stainlesssteelrat.net              "A perpetual holiday is a good working definition of hell."        -- George Bernard Shaw              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
