   Well, here's an update... Thanks for the suggestions though.   
      
   As it turns out HP recommends a certain HP driver that IS included with   
   Vista (presumably a similar model) that should work for my printer.   
      
   And with some digging on their site I did find some EXE file for my scanner,   
   whatever it is or does, so I SHOULD be set.   
      
   I haven't tested either... yet.
