Not [OT] for reasons expressed below...

Yes, I know we've mentioned and talked about this many times before.
and I know I seem to be one of the few who actually watched this whole
series when originally broadcast. But, just once more, as I start
watching the acquired version, I feel the need to express just
   how BR it is.

In the first double episode, it is not long before the action moves to
Androids. The main detective Hume dresses in a similar style to
Deckard, picks up a big gun similar to Deckard's, hates Andys when
they're not doing their machine programmed functions. The street
scenes are like BR (plus big city screens), the interior decor is too.
We soon hear mention of turtles. Then with Rekall, there is talk of
implants. Rekall does android programming, so they are effectively
also Tryell Corp in this series. And of course, we hear of these
androids attaining the equivalent of human consciousness, and those
with extended memory having a termination date on that extended memory
and not wanting to give up what they have learned - their newly gained
memories. Someone is experimenting on creating a More Human Mind in
   the android...

While this may not be the ultimate series, I still firmly believe it
is infinitely closer to BR than any other TV series ever made.

Although that does beg the question - what other TV series do you
think have some resonance with at least some aspect of BR?
