A cop shoots a running woman in the back in front of hundreds of
witnesses, as it doesn't make the news? Word doesn't get around at all?

Some of us have grown up to be "losers who spend time on the streets,"
and some of us have grown up to be "people who matter," and
communication between the two groups has been so completely severed that
something can be known by tens of thousands of people in Group A (don't
tell me witnesses would be so nanchalant about it that they wouldn't
even mention it to friends, family, and acquaintances), and not a single
person in Group B would ever hear a word about it?
