   This talk of Cosmos has caused me to acquire it. Some of the music was   
   sounding a tad Vengelis-y to me - the main theme sounds a LOT like his   
   chariots of fire theme actually. Sure enough, he's listed on IMDB as one   
   of the composers. Some very BR-ish synthy sounds as well.   
      
   Rest of the show is great too - a little dated visually (well a lot) but   
     Sagan's persona makes up for it.
