   I use AnyDVD HD to make my Blu-ray drive region free. It's a great piece   
   of software from SlySoft that has many other features beside the   
   standard region defeat for BD/HDDVD/DVD, such as skip ads, straight to   
   movie and drive speed control. It's about £50, which I paid, or you can   
   get it by other means if you don't want to factor that into the cost of   
   a system build.
