Standing in the dark, rainy shadows of a city alleyway, I spied the
Replicant POD {Ò¿Ó} covertly transmitting a message to renegade
   friends in alt.fan.blade-runner. Tracking...

   >I'm downloading stuff most night, Bones, How I Met Your Mother, Pushing
   >Daisies, Chuck, Smallville, Atlantis, and as cheesy as it is Knight Rider
   >;-)

Things that I, me, myself am currently tracking...

   # Detectives, Spies, etc.:

Chuck - accidental spy. I love this mix of comedy and spy-action and
characters I may not be like, but can relate to. (Okay, there is more
than a little of the "Nerd Squad" in me...) Hot protector-agent.

Life - detective sent to prison then released with huge compensation
when proved he was framed. Returns to police so he can find out (and
prove) who framed him, (while going out about solving crimes). He now
has an interesting view of life and there are some real funny moments
   mixed in. Hot partner.

Life on Mars - Detective has accident - wakes up as himself, but in
early 1970's. Still a detective. Very odd, but only seen first
episode so far, so too early to tell.

The Mentalist - Agent with super-observational talent. Sort of like
Psych though more serious (but still with fun moments). Doesn't send
   me, but early days yet.

Criminal Minds - Hard FBI profiling and action. Not as good as it
once was, but still better than much.

Numb3rs - Still going, some changes, but much the same.

   # Drama:

House - acts how I feel a lot of the time...

The Cleaner - almost at season end - very hard series about drug abuse
and recovery, but good if you can take it.

Eli Stone - about to start second season. Lawyer who gets visions
that have totally changed his life. Intriguing.

Pushing Daisies - quirky to the extreme.

Desperate Hou-.... errr... no, never mind.

   # SF&F:

SG-A - Well either you like Stargate or you don't. I do.

Sanctuary - with some Stargate alumni behind it. Mostly CGI
background and for some of the "monsters". Monster hunting/saving can
be fun! Makes me a feel a little old though because I still like
Amanda Tapping (Yeah, she is still younger than me), but would happily
play with the daughter too. (Not sure how old the daughter actually
is - it's complicated - but the actress is in her mid-20s.)

Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles - keeps me watching, but getting a
little repetitive. I think the problem is I want to like it just a
little more than I actually do. Of course if we're referencing
ex-Firefly personnel, I am definitely for my personal Terminator
protector being Summer Glau - even more so if it was back when I was
16... And her not being bothered about trivial things like being nude
at home, and if she were programmed in certain areas like Pris...

Heroes - Feel the need to keep watching, but never really been mad
about miraculous super-powers. So many characters is at the same
interesting and confusing - it does leave me wondering if I care about
   any of them...

The Last Enemy miniseries - presumably already been on in the UK.
Probably the only "real" Science Fiction currently on here.

Eleventh Hour - somewhat SF - government scientist (with attractive
"protector" (who waves her gun around far too much)) tries to stop bad
   science stuff happening.

Fringe - okay SF-y. Fringe science with a conspiracy behind seemingly
different bad fringe science stuff that are actually connected. Sort
of X-Files meets Doctor Who in a way. Enjoying it. Hot agent not
   averse to underwear shots.

Actually, that is a general observation I have made, particularly
about this US Fall season - most of the shows have (probably in the
first episode) had people in their underwear. Usually main
characters. More women of course, but some men too. It is a trend I
noticed maybe 4ish years ago on British TV. It is utterly disgusting
and depraved! But as I am way down that depraved road, I heartily
approve! Watching a good show and then there is some reason why the
babe is in her underwear? Good entertaining telly! (insert "guy" if
you're into that if you wish...)

Another observation is that I think I can watch almost all of the
above on official websites, or IMDb even! Awesome! Internet coming
of age! Still had to go the alternative route to get Torchwood
   though.

My final observation is I wish this stuff was on all year round. With
only a few exceptions, the last six months of TV was absolutely dire.

Oh and if you're still with me, I would like to recommend the web-only
   series starring ever-hot Rosario Dawson:
