You missed the best show on American TV right now, Mad Men. It's the
best filmmaking I'm seeing anywhere lately, very 60s European art film
   mixed with classical Hollywood style.

I also am liking the American Life on Mars, though the second episode
was a bit weaker than the first. Hopefully they'll be able to get things
together and find the show's voice. Still, there were plenty of great
moments in there, and even cliched hippie chick was a lot of fun. I
haven't seen the UK version though.

Also not bad is Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It's not great, but there's
moments where you get that old school Star Wars feel. I just wish the
animation didn't look like a bad videogame cut scene.
