   I love Stross, can be a bit wary of MacLeod's politicising, Iain M.   
   Bank's lives a few miles up the road from me (clever SF, but an acquired   
   taste) and I hadn't heard of Gary Gibson. I do so love a good space   
   opera, so I'll be looking him up.
