IE7 is far too quirky for my tastes. IE8 Beta       2 is a complete disaster area, but then it is a Beta release.              You do still come across the occasional (badly coded, I'm sure) ASP       based site that kills Firefox, but works perfectly in IE7. This is not       as regular an occurrance as it used to be. 99% of the time it's plain       sailing.              As SSR says, be very careful what plugins you use. That said you don't       have to use any at all and still transform your browsing experience.       Cripes, I sound like an advertisement there!              Alternatively, if you want great looks and some nifty functionality,       give Opera a go. Being a web designer I have to use IE7, Opera, Firefox,       Safari and Chrome on a regular basis. All except IE7 have something       interesting to offer the user and I would recommend trying them all for       a couple of days each and settling with your favorite. As I 've said       Firefox is my favorite, Opera comes a close second, Chrome and Safari       are interesting, but not useful for me at the moment.              Have fun choosing! :)                     Aaron              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
