   BULLPLOP!!  it's not the same trench, the end battle trench was 50 foot   
   across, the "Equatorial" trench is a few hundred feet across and has   
   lots of ruddy big hole with florescent light tubes around them.  Even   
   the computer graphic at the briefing showed the gun run trench running   
   in a longatudinal direction, with the port at the north pole of the   
   station.   
      
   Can't these sad bastards even make up plausable crap!?!?! ;-)
