   Do you like films with cute fluffy aliens who are all smarter and more   
   civilized than us?  ... Better look elsewhere then, because District 9   
   definitely isn't it. It is hard and nasty. Children of Men dirty, lots   
   of death, some moral questioning implied as in who are the monsters -   
   them or us?  In short, I would recommend it to anyone prepared to   
   watch some good, hard science fiction.   
      
   And like the director who made it, it reminds me somewhat of my own   
   time living in South Africa a long time ago.
