   If that were the case, you would know that when you turn One, that is   
   the end of your first year. When we hit 2011, that is the end of the   
   first year of the decade. Hence the decade starts Jan 1 2010.   
      
   You would also know about absolute time and that timezones are   
   actually irrelevant. As English as I am, I think you actually need to   
   look over Dan's way to San Francisco.   
      
   Also, the calendar doesn't actually have much to do with Jesus who for   
   all we know could quite easily have died in "year 1" not been born   
   then.   
      
   Oh and besides all that, time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.
