I don't care for it either, although I will watch the fourth episode out
of curiosity. I find it difficult to care about the events in this show
knowing how and where BSG ended. I frankly find the teacher character and
her polygamous household rather a turn off, a thing which was written
because it could be not because it made sense really. I find the actress
playing Zoe really frakking irritating and unappealing. I found it stupid
that the Zoe Cylon broke the bed the first time she sat on it, but left the
bed intact when she was sitting on it talking to her little friend.

The scenes between Esai Morales and Eric Stolz are the only thing that
hold my interest. They have been riveting. But other things piss me off. The
first Cylon has come to be due to a capricious bombing by a fool teenager in
the grip of religious fervor? Please. BSG could be annoyingly mystical and
scattershot at times, but it had real suspense and uncertainty about the
fate of humanity going for it. Caprica does not have this, nor does it yet
have the very interesting political intrigue and stuggles of BSG.

I think Caprica is a bill of goods trying to pass itself off as a deep
fictional analysis of the origins and nature of the human soul, and I'm not
   buying it

Our timeline is not the Caprican timeline. Maybe the corporate logos for
BMW, Citroen, Audi and Mercedes are mystical religious demon symbology built
into our mass collective memories, left to us by the 12 tribes.

       Yeah, right.
