   You stole a couple of bucks worth of batteries, and the punishment fitted   
   the crime. Perhaps your parents should have paid $5, and taken it from you   
   over the next few weeks.   
      
   You steal thousands of dollars worth of music, you expect to pay a higher   
   price. If I was the parent of this girl, she'd be paying me back until she   
   left home (and beyond if necessary).
