         Actually,  they have roughly the same potency.  The only   
   significant difference is that Oxycodone is available without the   
   additional aspirin-like drug thats gets formulated into   
   hydrocodone-containing preparations.     This means you can take more   
   of it without getting poisoned.   
      
          One example of this is Rush's deafness,  known to be associated   
   with chronic high doses of hydrocodone plus acetaminophen.
