   HORRIBLE year for mail. And I could never quite figure out if it was the USPS   
   in general or the mailbox place I use losing stuff.    
      
   Never received an important 1099 from a company I did a considerable amount of   
   business with and which changed hands this year. "Hey we don't have that stuff   
   anymopre, call the IRS" which was the response I received when I tried to get   
   them to resend one.   
    I have an extension until October and still have no idea what the hell I am   
   going to do about that.    
      
   I used to be deeply immersed in trading culture and with hundreds or thousands   
   of packages sent from the 1980's to the 2000's with less than a handful of   
   issues. Would think nothing of just sticking cash in an envelope and sending   
   it out, even overseas.
