   I think it is clear that adults and kids and seniors don't react the   
   same way to infection, but it's far from clear how all of that plays   
   out, and there are a lot of other factors involved.   
      
   One thing that's indisputable but largely ignored in the current debate   
   is that there are over 50 million school kids in this country. Also,   
   they will still be crowding and hugging and wrestling and kissing and   
   stealing food off of lunch trays and smearing their hands in each others   
   faces every single day.   
      
   You can argue whether the risks are lower in a single encounter when   
   kids are involved. But the GOP wanting the government to mandate 50   
   million people getting together under these conditions (plus teachers   
   and custodians and administrators and cafeteria workers....) makes it   
   clear they adore big government.
