|    gripe #2591: overloaded audio UI control    |

From: usenet@only.tnx              I so dislike when the fast-forward function is put on the same button as the       next track function. Tap once: next track. Press and hold: fast-foward.       So you're in the middle of a really long track and trying to fast-forward past       a       section, when your finger slips and poof, now it starts playing the next track       instead. Getting back to where you were is a PITA. This is especially       annoying       with touch screens.              see also:              Gripe #2593: slow fast-forward              On a lot of gizmos, pressing and holding the fast-forward button will       fast-forward slowly at first, then speed up after a couple of seconds. This       allows some flexibility in navigating through a track. Some gizmos don't have       this feature. Bleagh. I have some long recordings and they're not broken up       into tracks, for reasons. Sometimes I want to skip a few minutes. It       shouldn't       take minutes to do that.              --       Would you trade your funk for what's behind the third door?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
