From: howdHol@yaooho.com              I know the British tabloids are in an uproar over the Oprah interview,       but I also know the tabloids are often in the business of trying to make       news rather than report it.              Is the latest Oprah interview generating a lot of deep outrage in the       UK, or is it just a flash in the pan? (or for that matter, despite what       is in the headlines, sympathy for the estranged couple?)              I feel a bit like this writer for the Irish Times, minus the bit about       the grandfather:              "Having a monarchy next door is a little like having a neighbour who’s       really into clowns and has daubed their house with clown murals,       displays clown dolls in each window and has an insatiable desire to hear       about and discuss clown-related news stories. More specifically, for the       Irish, it’s like having a neighbour who’s really into clowns and, also,       your grandfather was murdered by a clown."              https://www.irishtimes.com/1.4504502              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
