|    Veggie Sausage    |

From: howdHol@yaooho.com              In the vein of plant milks, I'm curious if there are decent enough veggie       sausages yet.              I think Impossible Burgers have done a pretty impressive job of creating       veggie burgers which are very close to basic ground beef, but I don't know       anyone who has a solid veggie replacement for sausage.              It would seem to me like sausage would be easier than burgers -- people       have wider tolerances for spice, herbs, texture, etc. for sausage than       burgers. But I don't know of any veggie sausages which have reached the       level of approval by non-vegetarians that Impossible has reached for       burgers.              But I will also cop to my general ignorance of what the food world has been       saying about veggie subs for sausage. I've done a quick search which tends       to lean towards saying that Morningstar isn't bad, but isn't really great       either. But then I won't claim that this is a comprehensive review, so if       anyone has more input, I'd welcome it.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
