   The iPhone has gained far more market penetration than the Macintosh ever did,   
   so that includes more average, miserable, angry people. Apple products also   
   have a well-earned reputation as being more expensive than similar "Wintel"   
   machines, ergo purchased more often by wealthy people.

   Macs were widely adopted by people in the creative arts -- writers,
