   At my store, at least, there was lots of Halloween candy on the shelf   
   before November 1, so I don't think there were any serious supply chain   
   issues before then. I'd also think if anything, challenges in   
   distribution might encourage stores to hang on to candy longer, due to   
   potential difficulties in moving old stuff out and new stuff in.   
      
   These could be issues outside of my immediate area, to be fair.
