   The kids' grandmother used to make mashed rutabaga for TDay. Took me   
   awhile to try it and then to develop a like for it. She also served   
   fried chicken livers at breakfast,so we needed to be prepared for   
   oddities.   
      
   The only one in the family who does not like it is the super taster   
   who does not eat any cruciferous veggies, either. I assume there is a   
   similarity in bitterness.   
      
   Thinking about it, I like all vegetables.
