   Democrats actually do. Build Back Better would greatly expand tax breaks   
   for ordinary Americans. $3600 per child per year, which would enormously   
   reduce childhood poverty. It would expand the earned income tax credit   
   for 17 million working class Americans.   
      
   But none of that comes through the press coverage.   
      
   And while the press occasionally allows that people don't know the   
   contents of Build Back Better, they refuse to admit it has anything to   
   do with their coverage. If they blame anyone, they blame ordinary people   
   for not knowing, or they blame Democrats for not, somehow, forcing the   
   press to report on it.   
      
   The press looks at a huge failure in the quality, tone, and quantity of   
   their coverage and decide it couldn't possibly be their fault.
