   Do the winter surge figures include mild cases?  (I'd have guessed they   
   do.)   
      
   I'm double-jabbed-and-booster-shotted (UK), but AIUI while I'm not   
   guaranteed to avoid catching it, there's a stronog probability (not   
   100%) that it won't be bad enough to put me in hospital.  If it is, the   
   chance of dying from it is way down.  Everything I've read has been   
   that the hospitalised cases and deaths are overwhelmingly unvaccinated   
   people.   
      
   Non-life-threatening cases could account for high-vaccinated   
   populations still recording a surge at this time of year, particularly   
   given the decline in mask-wearing and social distancing.
