When I say that, I do NOT mean an electric powered pellet grill. No       propane, no gas, no        wood, no wood pellets, no wood chips, no wood sawdust, and no charcoal. In       other words, imagine an electric coil VERSION OF a, let's say, 6 burner free       standing propane grill, but one that has ONLY one power cord. If not, does       anybody know if it would be        possible to design and build such a thing? Thank you.              Here is an example of a countertop electric broiler              https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:TwplM_B0Dc       J:https://www.sears.com/flame-king-electric-scorch/p-A105401026+       cd=41&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us              whose specs say "200 watts". They also say "20 amps" but that doesn't mean it       actually draws 20 amps, just that you can plug it in to a        20 amp outlet. Looks like it would provide about 1 "burner"'s worth of       cookery. I see no reason 6 of such couldn't be ganged into one unit        that would draw a maximum of 1,200 w if all 6 elements were going. Marginal       on a 15 amp circuit, but I think I've experienced space        heaters running on such with such peak power.              Bob in Andover              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
