From: snidely.too@gmail.com              The sports columns/blogs of fiverthirtyeight.com haven't had an entry       since April 26, while the rest of their content is still updating       (reports on DeSantis, Immigration, the Eurovision song contest, Colin       Allred, and Republicans targeting professors' job security).              I understand ESPN.com has had layoffs. Is there connection? I think       the sports contributors were drawn from multiple regions and were not       all full-time Disney-ABC-ESPN employees, but perhaps the relevant       editor was on the chopping block.              I fully understand this issue is of importance only to a fraction of       AFCAns, but I'm all of us have realized some emptiness when a favorite       source disappears.              /dps                     --       "This is all very fine, but let us not be carried away be excitement,       but ask calmly, how does this person feel about in in his cooler       moments next day, with six or seven thousand feet of snow and stuff on       top of him?"        _Roughing It_, Mark Twain.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
