   Well, that deserves a straight answer. My partner Sue died  after 48 years   
   together.    
   I miss her a lot, but it has been a little over a year, and it doesn't hurt as   
   much as   
   it did.    
      
   Meanwhile, my family genes have kicked in, and another 15 years will get me to   
   90.
