   In the early '80s, I stumbled across Dr Who ... Tom Baker and his   
   then-wife the second Romana, watching on a small b&w tv, with my first   
   VCR getting snowy pictures from the local PBS affiliate. I think I had   
   a a small color tv by the time HHGTTG came from the same station.
