From: snidely.too@gmail.com              Looking for recommendations for a daily comic.              At gocomics.com, I do        - Calvin and Hobbes        - Pickles        - The Argyle Sweater        - Pearls Before Swine        - Rose Is Rose        - Phoebe and Her Unicorn        - Get Fuzzy              At least 4 of those are in perpetual reruns.              I'm thinking of rejoining Frazz; is that still getting new strips?       What about Over The Hedge? Frank and Ernest is okay, usually. I       burned out over Dilbert before the author became controversial, and I       only miss Shoe occasionally. Broomhilda?              What are your recommendations?              For web comics, of course there is XKCD, which still has 3 new posts a       week, and Girl Genius. (I'm not sure how I got to that one, but I did       10 years of catching up in about 3 weeks, and am now reduced to waiting       for the 3-a-week. I actually wait till Friday so I can read three       posts at a time, which helps with the story-telling).              I remember Greg had a favorite featuring a fox and a hare as a married       couple in a forest community, but I haven't tracked down the correct       name of that one.              Mr Nebus would sometimes comment here on strips with math, but I think       his blog has been idle for a while.              Back when I got print nuzpaipurs, the comics page was part of the       reason. But when it's 30 years since you chose your favorites ....              /dps                     --       Who, me? And what lacuna?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
