   Pardon my HD ignorance on this one, but here goes.   
      
   I know sometimes theatrical movies are shot in a native 4:3 aspect   
   ratio, then "matted" off at the top and bottom for theatrical   
   showings. Does the same 'trick' work for HDTV showings?
