From: stephendame@rogers.com              The spongebob, runaway productions and talk show proliferation bits were       very clever and extremely well written. It's obvious why this guy was a       Harvard grad and one of the great Simpsons writers.              It's too bad this type of intelligent humour doesn't always shine through on       the TV show... I know, I know: demographics and the masses; but this type of       writing shows Conan is still on top of the edgy, satirical and irreverent       humour that made Letterman famous and oozes from Jon Stewart today. I'd love       to see the writers for LN and eventually Conan's TS push him back into this       type of intelligent Lampoon direction... with the occasional visit from the       Masturbating Bear of course.              If he wrote a monthly column, I'd seriously subscribe to the rag whatever       magazine prints it. It'd be great even if he did something like this for the       website whenever he had time.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
