   Exactly. When the guest is entertaining, he either spars brilliantly   
   with them, or hangs back & lets them do their thing. It's really only   
   when the guest is bombing that he takes over. And personally, I'd rather   
   watch Conan hijack a boring interview than be subjected to the average   
   celebs witless prattle.
