   i haven't noticed so much but then again i don't pay that much attention   
   to them (the stand ups).  i do remember 1 time on letterman, louis CK   
   was on and did the absolute worst stand up routine i ever saw. it was   
   sooo bad and completely unfunny, it was painful to watch. i was   
   cringing- he absolutey died out there. how/why he was able to get that   
   material on a major late night talk show is beyond me.   
      
   you know whose writer's are generally *really* bad? carson daly's. they   
   need to stop doing jokes and the occasional "bits" or get a totally new
