   No, he didn't, although last night's show was in the "new" format (in   
   which the first guest gets two segments and the musical guest is in the   
   very last segment), so it would have been fairly awkward for Conan to   
   run over to the stage and shake hands all around after Godsmack's   
   performance, and then have to deliver a brief Steve Irwin eulogy.
