I recall an interview Conan had with a male guest, prior to Late Night
moving to 4 nights a week, in which the guest suggested to Conan that
he should do only 4 shows a week--they brought up something about
extra time off or devoting an extra day to make for a higher quality
show. I remember Conan saying what a great idea that was and that he
would ask NBC about it. Not long after, Conan announced they were
moving to 4 shows per week. The change probably delayed the death of
my old VCR by a couple years.

Rita was easy on the eyes. Friday Night Videos became less about the
music and more about the adventures of Rita. She was very pretty, at
   least.
